Tony - written by Sharon Innes
A bearded man in black and white
In a private life and out of sight
A man who treasured all he had
Appreciated good and bad.
A private soul with his passions deep
A lifetime of collections he worked to keep
No one knows or understood
Does it matter? It's because he could
He never asked for much in life
And at the end he took his wife
A man who never wanted a fuss
If you did then he was sure to cuss
The bearded man in black and white
He did what he always felt was right
Tony you lived your life so well
And now we join to wish you farewell

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
